Last night in Heidelberg at the Weisses Lamm

In the last night of our trip almost everyone from the group went to the local Gasthaus (restaurant & bar) called Weisses Lamm where we met a group of local male singers who were having a get together after their weekly rehearsal. Here is  a picture from all women in our group and members of the local group.

Heidelberg - January 13th

Our final destination is Heidelberg, one of the most beautiful city in Germany. It also has the oldest university in Germany. Here are 2 pictures in front of House of Kebab, a Kurdish Döner (gyros) place in the main street of Heidelberg where we had a nice lunch.

Munich

From Salzburg we drove by bus to Munich. Here is a group picture from Munich.

On the way from Vienna to Munich, we stopped in Salzburg to tour the city. Here is a group picture in front of Mozart's birth place.

Staatsopera in Vienna

The entire group went tonight (January 9th) to the Staatsoper in Vienna to see the Nutcracker. It was magnificent and we all had a blast. Here is a picture of the inside of the opera and one from our group on the stairs inside the opera:

Day 8-9 From Budapest to Vienna

We left Budapest on Day 8 and arrived in Vienna in the afternoon. The next day we toured the city. On the last day of our stay in Budapest a small group went to one of the many hot spas (Turkish Baths) called Széchenyi. Day 7-8 From Prague to Budapest

We left Prague and travelled via Slovakia to Budapest. We had a great tour of the city. Here is a group piocture at Heroes Square.

Day 4-5 Dresden to Prague

We traveled on the 4th day from Berlin and on the way to Prague we stopped in Dresden, one of the most beautiful cities in Central Europe. Here is a group picture from Dresden.

Day 2-3 Berlin

We arrived in Berlin and had a nice walking tour with Jürgen, our Tour Guide. We then went to have dinner using the Berliner Metro System. After our city tour on Day 3, we traveled by train to Potsdam to visit Sanssouci in Potsdam where we took the following group picture.

Day 1- Departure from Dulles International Airport

We have just arrived at the gate for Lufthansa Flight #419 from Washington to Frankfurt. Everyone made it on time and we are ready to board the plane. We had time or a group picture. Here it is.
